PixelWidget

Senior Producer · Builder-operator

Christian Perez

I started in QA and moved into production because I wanted to understand why some bugs never got fixed.

If I was going to ask a team to ship something, I wanted to understand how the work was actually made, where it got stuck, and why some problems never made it off the board.

That curiosity never really went away. I'll still spin up an environment, pull apart a tool, or learn a new framework because I want to understand what the team is actually dealing with.

A producer who only lives in the tracker is guessing.

The job

A producer should know how and why everything was made, and who pioneered it. That's how you put the right person on work they're passionate about, or know who is ready to grow.

The production role isn't just spreadsheets and deadlines. It's knowing your team, using that to get the job done, and laughing about it the whole way.

PixelWidget

After years of helping build other people's ideas, I wanted somewhere to put my own.

PixelWidget became that place. It's where I build the things I can't stop thinking about, learn new tools by actually using them, and help other people turn a napkin idea into something real.

Constitution

  1. 01Start with wonder.
  2. 02Finish with systems.
  3. 03Prototype before debating.
  4. 04AI is a multiplier, not the product.
  5. 05Every pixel has purpose.
  6. 06Build things that make people ask, “How did they think of that?”

Bring the napkin idea. PixelWidget will find the path that makes it real.
